The Soldiers of Ashland Memorial honors the soldiers of Ashland in the war of 1861–1865. It was erected by the town, G.M. Keye’s Post G.A.R., and the Woman’s Relief Corps, and was dedicated on May 30th, 1899. The town committee included Thomas E. Greney of the 6th N. H. Volunteers, Frank L. Hughes of the 12th N. H. Volunteers, and Edward P. Warner of the 14th Indiana Volunteers.
