Albert C. Burke Jr. served as Avon town supervisor, a downtown merchant, and a World War II veteran, and for over 40 years he lived and worked on the circle at Park Place as an active member of the Avon community he so dearly loved. A dedicated husband and father of nine children, he served unselfishly for the improvement of Avon and provided a fine example of good citizenship to his fellow man.
