Bonelli House in Kingman, Arizona, was built in 1915 after the Bonelli family’s original home on the property burned. Constructed of local Peach Springs Tuff stone from Metcalfe Quarry, the two-story house features a low hipped roof, dormers, and a veranda on three sides, with design elements suited to the desert climate. George Bonelli and his family raised nine children there while operating a ranch, stores in Kingman, and a general store and meat market in nearby Chloride. Much early plumbing, wiring, and many original furnishings survive, and the house is now owned by the City of Kingman and operated as a historic house museum.
