Stones from a grist mill erected on Hurd's Brook in 1805 by Stephen Smith remain from one of ten mills in Bath. The mill stood on land of Edward & Goldie Harris and operated until about 1820. Edward & Goldie Harris gave the stones to the town in 1965.
