Mount Hunt is a 10,788-foot peak in the Teton Range of northwestern Wyoming within Grand Teton National Park, near the head of Open Canyon and just west of Mount Hunt Divide. It was named for William Price Hunt, one of the leaders of the 1811–12 Astor Expedition. The mountain links this part of the Tetons to the early overland fur-trading ventures that helped shape the recorded history of the Rocky Mountain West.
