Brookline Veterans Memorial Park honors the brave men from the community who gave their lives for freedom and liberty in World War I, World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, and pays perpetual honor to the veterans of Brookline and to all American veterans who, though separated by generations, shared a common goal of valiantly protecting the country's freedoms; it presents the American veteran as a lasting symbol of heroism, sacrifice, loyalty, and freedom, whose memory lives on wherever democracy exists.
