Built in 1865 as Zion German Presbyterian Church on Dundee Road near Milwaukee Avenue, it was used as a church until 1962. In 1968 it was relocated to its present site and preserved as a historical reminder of the past by the Wheeling Historical Society and the Wheeling Park District, and it was dedicated on July 27, 1986.
