High Ledges Wildlife Sanctuary is a 587-acre protected landscape in Shelburne, Massachusetts, on the northern part of Massaemett Mountain. Owned by the Massachusetts Audubon Society, it is maintained as a wildlife sanctuary rather than a developed park. Its most prominent feature is High Ledge, a cliffside overlook above Shelburne Falls with broad westward views that include Mount Greylock. The area is also known for its wildflowers, especially the yellow lady’s slipper, making it significant for both scenic beauty and native plant life.
