The Jim McClure–Jerry Peak Wilderness is a 116,898-acre protected area in central Idaho spanning Salmon-Challis National Forest and adjacent Bureau of Land Management land in Custer County. It borders the Hemingway–Boulders Wilderness on the southwest and lies east of the Cecil D. Andrus–White Clouds Wilderness, though the two do not connect. The area became part of the National Wilderness Preservation System on August 7, 2015, under the Sawtooth National Recreation Area and Jerry Peak Wilderness Additions Act. Sponsored by Representative Mike Simpson, the measure passed Congress without objection and was signed by President Barack Obama. The wilderness is named for former Idaho senator Jim McClure.
