Hemingway–Boulders Wilderness is a protected wilderness area in central Idaho within the Sawtooth National Recreation Area and Sawtooth National Forest. Encompassing 67,998 acres in the Boulder Mountains near Ketchum, it adjoins the Jim McClure–Jerry Peak Wilderness, while the Cecil D. Andrus–White Clouds Wilderness lies farther north. The area was named for both the Boulder Mountains and Ernest Hemingway, who lived in nearby Ketchum. It entered the National Wilderness Preservation System on August 7, 2015, through federal legislation sponsored by Representative Mike Simpson, passed by Congress without objection, and signed into law by President Barack Obama.
