THE STORY
Narrated · Plays hands-free in Travel Mode
The Morris Canal operated from 1824 to 1924. At Lock Nos. 9 and 10-East, a stone abutment supported a mule bridge, and boats were pulled across the river in slack water behind the dam in Morris County.
