The Ghost site consists of three earthen mounds. The largest is a platform mound measuring 11 feet tall and 118 by 92 feet at the base. The other two are about 1 foot tall and are dome shaped. Decorative pottery from the mounds indicates Indians lived at the site as early as AD 800 but built the mounds later, around AD 1050.
