Warner Canyon is a small, community-oriented ski area in the Warner Mountains near Lakeview in south-central Oregon. Operating since 1938, it has a notably long history for an Oregon ski area. Once part of the Fremont National Forest, it passed to Lake County through a 1998 land swap with the U.S. Forest Service. Rather than a large resort, Warner Canyon remains a modest local destination, run by the non-profit Fremont Highlanders Ski Club. Its facilities reflect that scale, with a single triple chairlift featuring two landings and a vertical drop of 780 feet.
