Silver Falls is a waterfall on the Ohanapecosh River in Mount Rainier National Park, where a series of smaller cascades in a narrow canyon leads to a main drop of about 40 feet into a punchbowl before the water continues through a gorge. Fed by snowmelt, the river is unusually clear for the park. Old-growth forest surrounds the falls, with ferns, moss, Douglas fir, Pacific silver fir, cedar, hemlock, and western alder, while deer and woodpeckers are among the wildlife seen nearby. A footbridge and overlook provide views, and the Silver Falls Loop Trail follows both sides of the river.
