Bright Angel Point Trail

Bright Angel Point Trail is a short, fully paved rim walk on the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona. Beginning near the Grand Canyon Lodge complex at the south end of the Transept Trail, it follows the ridge of the Bright Angel Peninsula to Bright Angel Point. The trail is considered one of the easier walks on the North Rim because of its modest length and paved surface. Its significance lies in the sweeping canyon views from the point, including sights of Cottonwood Campground far below the rim and Grand Canyon Village on the South Rim across the canyon. Despite its ease, the route is exposed, has no water, and is hazardous during thunderstorms.
