Knapp's Covered Bridge
Transportation
Knapp's Covered Bridge spans Brown's Creek in Burlington Township, Pennsylvania, near Luther's Mills. This Burr arch truss covered road bridge, also known as the Luther's Mills Covered Bridge and the Brown's Creek Covered Bridge, was built in 1853 and measures 95 feet long. Named for a local family, it represents the 19th-century covered bridge tradition that shaped rural travel in Pennsylvania. Its historic importance was recognized in 1980 with its listing on the National Register of Historic Places, and it later received a major restoration that began in 2000.
