Black Tooth Mountain is a 13,009-foot summit in Wyoming’s Bighorn Mountains, in the Cloud Peak Wilderness of Bighorn National Forest, and the second-highest peak in the range. Named for its sharp, dark toothlike profile, it rises in especially rugged country near Cloud Peak, Mount Woolsey, and Hallelujah Peak, with tiny remnant glaciers on its north slopes. It is regarded as one of the hardest climbs in the Bighorns because of its steep terrain and many unmarked routes. The first recorded ascent was in 1933, when Warren Gorell reached the summit by the north face on his third attempt.
