Mount Ogden is a prominent nine thousand five hundred seventy-nine-foot peak in Utah’s northern Wasatch Range, rising above Weber County and known for both outdoor recreation and practical use. Hikers approach the summit through Beus, Waterfall, and Taylor canyons, while climbers are drawn to its eastern face for technical crack and face routes. Its summit is marked by large radio towers and a helipad, highlighting an infrastructure role alongside its scenic appeal. Snowbasin Ski Resort occupies the mountain’s eastern slope, provides private road access to the peak, and gained added significance when it hosted downhill events during the two thousand two Winter Olympics.
