LaBarque Creek Conservation Area is a 1,274-acre protected landscape in northwestern Jefferson County, Missouri, centered on LaBarque Creek near Pacific and Cedar Hill. Built through acquisitions beginning in 2005, it opened to the public in 2007, and its original 639 acres were designated a natural area in 2010. Later additions expanded it and connected it with land to the south to form a larger block of public protected land. The area is important for its varied habitats, including sandstone glades, fens, and woodlands, and for the exceptional biological diversity of LaBarque Creek, where at least 54 fish species have been recorded. Limited public use supports both recreation and conservation.
