Since 1999, Quakertown Alive!, Quakertown's nationally-accredited Main Street program, has worked with the Borough of Quakertown, the Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce, and Visit Bucks County to develop a successful downtown center that makes Quakertown a place where people want to live, shop, and play. The Borough's historic district, downtown district, points of interest, and the route of the Pennsylvania Highlands Trail Network run through Quakertown.
