During the Korean Conflict from 1950 to 1953, the city of Gardner honored all those who served in the armed forces of the United States and remembered Rolfe F. Blanchard, Charles E. Bridge, Bertram P. Couture, Norman R. Fontaine, Edward W. Labossiere, Donald V. Leblanc, Gerald C. Leblanc, Joseph F. Poirier, Romeo G. Theriault, and Leo J. Vaillancourt.
