In 2000, generous support from community-spirited individuals, families, organizations, State Representative John Gordner, the Boro of Millville, and the Townships of Pine and Madison enhanced the town park with the installation of eighteen Victorian lights around the park perimeter for enjoyment, safety, and to show visitors that the community is proud. The lights were given in memory of James E. Artman by Lois Artman and family; Klase and Myrtle Bardo by Virginia Bardo Zeisloft; Maus N. Eyer by Irma Eyer and Elva Lawton; Pete and Clete Farr by Richard and Marjorie Farr and children; Manley C. Fought by his family; Thomas S. and Helen Gordner by John and Mary Gordner; Kendall Welliver by his family; Drexel Woolcock and Nannette Woolcock Bower by their families; Wallace and Betty Wright by their family; and in memory and honor of the parents of Skip, Rob, and Dick Bower by their families. Additional lights were given by the family of Leroy O. and Nancy Diehl; the family of Harold and Gay Ann Fisk; the family of J. C. and Marjorie Welliver Fought; the family of Burel and Ruby Gum; the family of Arthur Hock, Jr.; R. Lee and Pat Milroy; the family of John H. and Grace G. Watts; and the family of Gerald M. and Ruth G. Woolcock.
