White Mountain Grasslands Wildlife Area is a protected wildlife area in the White Mountains of eastern Arizona, in Apache County, about seven miles west of Springerville and near Eagar. Established in 1999, it forms part of Arizona’s network of protected lands. Its importance lies in preserving grassland habitat within the White Mountains region.
