The Gazebo in the Upper Village Green was added in the mid-1980s. It became a welcome place to relax and enjoy everyday scenery, as well as a premier setting for live entertainment, musical performances, wedding ceremonies, celebrations, and proposals. During the winter months, it housed annual entries from the Quilt Competition and Display from 1987 to 2015 and the Gingerbread Competition and Display from 1984 until 2020, when that display moved to a larger location.
