Cache La Poudre Wilderness is a federally protected wilderness area in Colorado within the Canyon Lakes Ranger District of Roosevelt National Forest. Managed by the U.S. Forest Service, it includes 9,258 acres of steep, rugged terrain along the Cache la Poudre River. Elevations range from about 6,200 to 8,600 feet, and 9 miles of the Little South Fork of the Cache La Poudre River pass through it. Access is intentionally limited, with only the 3-mile Mount McConnel National Recreation Trail entering the area, underscoring the undeveloped character that defines this wilderness.
