Angora Peak is a Sierra Nevada mountain in California south of Lake Tahoe. Its summit stands on the eastern boundary of Desolation Wilderness within Eldorado National Forest. South of Fallen Leaf Lake and northwest of the Angora Lakes, it rises as part of the rugged high country above the Tahoe Basin, linked to the protected backcountry of Desolation Wilderness and the surrounding forested slopes.
