Mill Creek Falls is a prominent waterfall in the Rogue River Canyon near Prospect in southern Oregon, where Mill Creek drops 173 feet into the Rogue River. The falls plunge over a carved cliff lined with petrified volcanic ash from the eruption of Mount Mazama, and they share this cliff with nearby Barr Creek Falls. Seen together from adjoining viewpoints, the two create an especially dramatic cluster of cascades in the canyon. Mill Creek flows from headwaters near Huckleberry Mountain through Prospect and the park area before reaching the canyon, and the scenic area, designed and built by Boise Cascade Corporation, remains a popular destination for canyon views.
