Veterans' Memorial "Centre" Park was renamed in honor of the veterans of all wars upon the recommendation of Frank S. Reilly MD, Town of Cobleskill Supervisor. The approval came on January 16, 2001, by the Cobleskill Village Board of Trustees. The dedication honored the memory of all veterans, living and deceased, who served their country in all wars, with Veterans Day on November 11, 2000, and the memorial dedicated on Memorial Day, May 28, 2001.
