Neet Covered Bridge spans Little Raccoon Creek southwest of Rockville, Indiana, as a historic covered road bridge built in 1904. A single-span Burr Arch structure by noted builder Joseph J. Daniels, it is especially significant as the last bridge known to have been contracted to him, when he was 78. The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. Its name has uncertain origins, since the Neet family held or rented nearby land but was not shown owning the site in a 1908 county atlas. The area also reflects changing transportation routes, including a nearby former Central Indiana Railroad crossing, and later local maintenance efforts.
