Three Valley Museum in Durant, Oklahoma, is a nonprofit institution operated by the Durant Historical Society and devoted to the history of Bryan County. Opened in 1976 and named for Henry McCreary’s book Queen of the Three Valleys, it traces the county’s story from 1873 to the present through artifacts and period displays. Its most recognized attraction is a second-floor small-town exhibit that recreates early 1900s scenes, including a law office, doctor’s office, child’s room, parlor, general store, and more than 20 business and street settings. Additional exhibits cover local transportation history and a Native American Gallery focused on tribes in southeast Oklahoma.
