Henry C. Hornby
History
Henry C. Hornby was a pioneer civic leader who made great contributions to the establishment and development of Jay Cooke State Park. Five hundred forty acres of land southwest of this point, embracing Silver Creek in the park, are dedicated to his memory. The land was donated by Mr. Hornby's daughters in January 1953 in memory of their father.
