Stagleap Provincial Park is a protected mountain area in British Columbia, about 34 kilometres west of Creston in the Central Kootenay region. Although sometimes shown as a regional park, it is officially a provincial park of Canada. Covering about 1,133 hectares, it is important as protected habitat for endangered mountain caribou. That conservation purpose guides management, including a seasonal ban on dogs and other domestic animals from November 1 through April 30. The park also supports recreation such as hiking, skiing, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing, with log cabins available for day use. Its importance lies in combining outdoor access with habitat protection.
