PFC. Jack Clem Robinson, one of Fannin County’s finest, was killed in action at Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands, making the ultimate sacrifice so that others might live. October 25 was proclaimed Jack C. Robinson Day in Fannin County, Georgia, and he was honored on November 11, 1987.
