Haines Mill is a historic grist mill in South Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania, built around 1840 and preserved as a four-story stone mill museum. About 42 by 46 feet, it features a slate-covered gambrel roof with a cupola. After a fire in 1908, the interior was rebuilt, and a three-story brick addition was added in 1930. The mill operated fully until 1957 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981. Owned and maintained by Lehigh County, with public tours provided by the Lehigh County Historical Society, it endures as a working reminder of the region’s milling past.
