Industry
1
In 1850, Albion Nevers built this workshop across the street from his farm on the corner of Waterford and Hardscrabble roads. He was a woodworker, cabinet maker, and blacksmith known for his rattail hinges, and he repaired wagon wheels and would hoist up oxen to shoe their feet. In 1979, the building was bequeathed to the Sweden Historical Society and moved to this location.
