Walter and Virgilene Ritter Moore were lifelong residents of the area who devoted many hours and funding to the betterment of the City of Falmouth. Both served as city council members, and Virgilene served as mayor pro-temp for several years. In their final bequest, they left a lasting memorial for the citizens of Falmouth to enjoy, a bell tower given in love and respect for all to enjoy and reflect on the city's historic past.
