Sirretta Peak is a 9,982-foot mountain in California’s southern Sierra Nevada, north of Highway 178 and Lake Isabella. Its high elevation gives it a distinctly alpine character compared with the lower surrounding country, and because it rises so high, most of its precipitation falls as snow. Associated with Sequoia National Forest, it is part of the high mountain landscape above the Kern River region and stands out as a prominent feature of this section of the range.
