Pine Creek Wilderness is a federally designated wilderness area in California within the Cleveland National Forest and managed by the United States Forest Service. Established by Congress in 1984, it encompasses 13,261 acres of sloping terrain that rises from about 2,000 feet in the south to 4,000 feet in the north. It adjoins the Hauser Wilderness on the south. The landscape is chiefly chaparral, with chamise and scrub oak predominating, while oak woodland grows along stream bottoms. Access is regulated, with permits required for both day use and overnight travel.
