Kaiser Point is a mountain in the Lewis Range of Glacier National Park in Montana, near Mount Cleveland, the park’s highest summit. Lying 0.67 miles northeast of Mount Cleveland, it rises in one of the park’s most rugged alpine areas. Its significance rests largely on how its elevation is measured: older maps using the Sea Level Datum of 1929 gave it as 9,996 feet, while the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 lists it at 10,001 feet. Under that newer standard, Kaiser Point exceeds 10,000 feet, and the National Park Service recognizes it as Glacier National Park’s seventh tallest peak.
