Will Rogers State Historic Park preserves the former ranch estate and surrounding open land where Will Rogers lived with his wife Betty and their children in the Pacific Palisades, reflecting both family life and his horsemanship. The property became a state park in 1944, and the ranch house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. Known for its trails, views, and Los Angeles County’s only outdoor regulation-size polo field, it also connected visitors to Rogers’ life through original furnishings and exhibits. In 2025, the Palisades Wildfire destroyed the ranch house, main stables, and other structures, though parts of the site and some artifacts were saved.
