The Lost Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church congregation was organized in 1849, built its first church in 1860, moved across the road in 1895, and merged with St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hicksville, Ohio, in 1926 after seventy-seven years of glory to God and Christian service to this community and the world.
