Built in 1916, the Suhwaro Hotel is a Spanish Mission Revival building that had many uses, including a hotel, school, and bowling alley. In 1924, the San Marcos Hotel purchased the Suhwaro Hotel for staff housing. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
