The whimsical yellow railing with music notes is the only remnant of the San Bernardino Civic Light Opera's occupation of this property from 1992 to 1998. Their complete refurbishment of the current building and their success in convincing McDonald's Corp. to officially acknowledge the location as the Historic Site of the Original McDonald's influenced Albert Okura's decision to purchase the property.
