Turquoise terrazzo tiles installed here were salvaged from the original Golden Arches building designed in 1953 by Dick McDonald. His layout set the standard for all stores for nearly 20 years. That distinctive 1950's architecture was later replaced by modern rectangular brick buildings, leaving these two pieces of polished stone as the last links to that building and era.
