People from the community served the country valiantly, and the tribute honors all who gave so the nation would remain the home of the brave and land of the free. All gave some, and some gave all. It expresses the hope that this nation under God shall have a new birth of freedom and that government of the people, by the people, and for the people shall not perish from the earth.
