The North Bridgton Community Club was founded in 1946. Its charter members were Iva Holden, Julia Chadbourne, Lillian Marr, Elizabeth Parsons, Georgia Allen, Josephine Flint, Blanche Keen, Georgia Decker, Doris Holden, Susie Allen, Hazel Allen, Ruth Goldsmith, Edith Flewelling, Nellie Woodis, Irene Stewart, Florence Bell, Verna Packard, Hannah Stevens, Muriel Byram, Molly Bowley, Dorothy Illsley, Edith Russell, Mildred Holden, Velma Lambert, Bertha Baker, Georgie Holden, Lena Warren, Eleanor Bigonski, Marguerite Bowley, Daisy McElroy, Rebecca Jellison, Maude Mayberry, Marion Durgin, Phyllis Chadbourne, Irene Chadbourne, Mildred Ridlon, Marguerite Whitney, Colleen Andrews, and Mrs. Leonard Mitchell.
