Mount Saint John is an 11,435-foot peak in Wyoming’s Teton Range within Grand Teton National Park. Rising northwest of Jenny Lake, it dominates the lake’s northwestern shore and helps define the skyline on the north side of Cascade Canyon. Together with Symmetry Spire and Rockchuck Peak, it forms a massif that looms above the canyon. Just south of its summit is Lake of the Crags, a cirque lake reached through Hanging Canyon. The mountain received its name in 1931 in honor of explorer and geologist Orestes St. John.
