Sunnyside School, built in 1875 at the southwest corner of Main Street and Menomonee Avenue in Menomonee Falls, was a one-room school until the summer of 1952, when two new classrooms were added. It continued to be used as a school until 1961, and then was used for storage by the School District. When the school was demolished in 2014, the original bell tower was rescued, brought to Old Falls Village, and used as a model for the replica.
