Nolensville Cemetery began in 1899 when J.W. Williams established it on land bought from Isaac Neely. The mid-section began in 1917 as the S.G. Jenkins cemetery. In 1925, J. W. Williams bought adjoining land and expanded the Jenkins cemetery, and more land was later added by C. H. Williams. In 1975, the Cemetery Association was formed and the Perpetual Care Fund was established, with J. B. Ozburn, Frank H. Waller, Mattie Sue and Walter D. Ragsdale, Maurice Williams, Will Brittain, J. T. Williams, Thomas Scales, Stanley Fly, and Vance Little serving as trustees.
