Waddington Farms was the summer home of Mr. and Mrs. Early Oglebay and later became Oglebay Park, regarded as one of the finest municipal parks in the country. A plan created for Mr. Oglebay in 1909 proposed the arrangement of the grounds for Waddington Farms. The greenhouse complex on the Oglebay family's estate included surrounding gardens, a walkway beside the greenhouses, and the Palm House, as seen about 1910.
